I had a maternity shoot today. She is just gorgeous.

what day is it again?

I didn't sleep a wink last night. Felt like a zombie all day. I took some photos, but too tired to process them. Slept all afternoon. Will post my pictures tomrrow.


OK, so here are my photos that I took yesterday morning. Kato after his bath. I had the blow dryer on him from below and he was fluffing up drying off. He's quite a character.

Incidentally, I slept for 16 hours !!! I feel great!

I found another kind of love....

Well today was very special. The wind was blowing and Dereck wanted to see if he could kite. So we packed up and went to the beach.......... see our stuff there on the beach? Very windy. I had to cover my camera bag. ugh....
Got to thinking that taking photos of twigs might be fun. The wind just isn't good for my camera. I took these with my Olympus that has already been thru the war and back. The 30D was tucked safely away in my bag.
Margie, I drew this heart for you. So it didn't just happen to be there. I scrawled it with my foot. Happy Heart Day to you.
So anyway, the highlight of the day were 2 manatees in the open water. Very unusual as they prefer calm warmer waters like the intracoastal water way or in salt water creeks or even brackish water. At first we thought it might have been a whale, but then we saw 2 of them swimming south. Lovers........... gently swimming together. So I found love again in a very odd place. The little turtle was following them. So cute!

End of day

I went to the doctor with Dereck today. Nothing worth taking photos of there. But the sunset today was gorgeous. On the way to drop Kane off to the tutor, I stopped at the end of my street and caught this gorgeous sunset.


Outside the tutor's house (her name is Aimee, by the way) I saw the moon in all her glory.

Looked down and saw this gorgeous piece of side walk chalk art drawn by Aimee's son, Zachary.
Guess it's a self portrait....... if you see him, you'll know exactly who he is! lol Oh, one thing, he lied a bit with the color of his eyes...... they're not really purple..... they're actually brown.

This is Riley, Zack's baby sister. Too cute. She'll turn 4 months soon and we have a photo shoot coming up soon, so you'll be seeing a lot more of her.
Then, on the way home, I took more sunset shots as the sun had been down for about 20 minutes or so.

Shoot! I got tagged. I have to name six weird things about myself then tag six people and they have to do the same. So here we go...are you ready....

1. Bad smells make me vomit.

2. I squeeze lime on my papaya.

3. I have had the same pillow for the past 10 years and nobody is allowed to sleep on it but me.

4. I cannot and will never use anyone else's toothbrush.

5. I hate it when other people use my towel.

6. I bite the inside of my cheeks.

Feeling blah and a blah day to suit

So I took my camera with me and saw nothing.......... you know how it is when you're sick. You just don't see anything............. on top of that, it was a cold and overcast day. A blah day.
How do you like this ugly tractor that was doing zero mph in front of us..........
This is as good as it gets from me today...... sorry.

and so I don't bore you with ugly tractors....... here's one I took a few days ago. I am so sadly out numbered by testosterone in my house it isn't even funny! A husband....... 2 sons, a male dog and a male bird. I wouldn't be surprised if the fish were male as well.

Today was very busy. On top of all the running around, I now have a cold. Bleh! So I wasn't motivated to take any interesting photos. I did, however, take a few shots of this little Maya Road scrapbook that my friend made for her niece. She is so talented, it makes me sick!
