Determined

I don't think I'm going to stop this high key thing till I get it. I still had to do quite a bit of Photoshopping on these before showing them off. I had some hot spots etc. Kato was quite annoyed with me by the end of this. He tried to bite me! LOL!

I turned down the shutter speed to 1/60 f/3.5 or 4...... don't remember. And ISO200

Jax, these look good. Are you using your flash for these? I like the middle one of Kato the best.

Emma just wanted me to tell you that she likes your pretty green bird.

That Kato is something else. He is sooooo vain. Just look at how he poses for the camera - a ham like Ty!

I love the bird pictures - the other technical stuff is nice too, but, not being a photographer, it shoots right over my head.

Heidi......... Tell Emma that Kato likes her a lot cuz the last little girl who visited me, called him a chicken and he was very upset over that. He is no chicken. My BIL has a Timenen, one of the African Gray birds, but smaller and some kid saw the bird on his shoulder and said "Look at the pigeon!" I thought that was hilarious! So we call them Pigeon and Chicken.

Jax the high bird shots look really good. I have found that on high key and low key with a flash it makes a big difference getting your subject a good distance away from the background.
Uh was that a run on sentence?
