I just wanted to show you this difference. I was telling Shell about the colour issue I have with Canon. Anyway, here is a side by side so you can see the difference. Left is ROOTC and right is one that I boosted the contrast , hue/saturation and USM.

When I got home, I realized that all the snapping I did was with YOUR camera!!! Duh... so I didn't have too many to choose from. I can't go and say that the ones of us were taken by me, cuz they weren't. Sorry about that last one....... you wanna send me some good fam ones so I can post them here? And that pelican one? I am dying to see it.
Looks like fun times!!! I have the same issue with the saturation thing with my camera also! For a while I adjusted the custom functions to boost the saturation and contrast a little to the right and it seemed to help actually!?

I have had the same issue with saturation with my Nikon... I recently changed the settings to optimize the image in camera and that seems to have helped... but I still usually throw a little more contrast to it when I get it out of the camera.
Thanks for getting this challenge going... I've had a great time.. have loved the pictures everyone has posted... and learned a lot...about photography and myself. :)
